EDITORIAL STUDENT
Career Planning & Professional Connections will be doing an exciting redesign of the job and internship fair we offer each semester! For Fall 2023, we will be offering specialized portions of the event with the expectation that a more tailored and focused schedule will support the student and employer experience.
This event will provide students the opportunity to connect with employers hiring for positions specific to their education, interests, skills and/or experience. Employers will be registering for the event date/time based on the positions for which they are recruiting. For example, if a bank is hiring for an IT intern, they will attend the STEM portion of the event. Students should know that attending one of the specialized portions of the event should result in fruitful conversations with a number of employers in attendance.
Please share the event information with students. Faculty and staff members are welcome to stop by the fair as well. The Job, Internship & Opportunities Fair will be held Tuesday, October 3 and Wednesday, October 4 in the Phoenix Rooms in the University Union. Specifics on the newly designed three-part fair are shown below.
