Quality Linux VPS
« on: April 12, 2025, 02:05:44 AM »
Looking for a solid Linux VPS server to host a few side projects and maybe a staging environment. Been burned by flaky uptime and weird throttling in the past, so I’m hoping for something clean, reliable, and not overpriced. Suggestions?

Totally hear you. I had the same complaints before I switched to a Linux VPS server from MangoHost. It’s been surprisingly reliable. No nonsense, no bloated control panels, just a fast, clean server environment. You get to choose your distro (I went with Debian), and the whole provisioning process takes like 5 minutes tops. I use mine to host a few Flask apps, run Docker containers, and even use it for VPN tunneling occasionally. The performance holds up under pressure, and you get full root access right away, no hoops to jump through. Their pricing structure is also refreshingly transparent. I’ve had zero downtime that wasn’t planned, and their support actually responds like humans. If you’re looking to keep full control, avoid surprises, and just build, this is a really solid place to anchor your work.

That sounds perfect. I’ve got a couple of things I’ve been meaning to move off shared hosting — this might finally be the right call. Appreciate the detailed breakdown!
