spreadsheets for project management is good?
« on: August 09, 2025, 04:13:53 PM »
Why might relying solely on spreadsheets for project management create inefficiencies, and how can purpose-built project management software offer more effective collaboration, data organization, and real-time updates?

I’ve always been a fan of Excel for organizing things, but when it comes to project management, it quickly becomes messy and hard to keep updated. Taskee’s blog https://taskee.pro/blog/project-management-software-vs-excel-which-tool-is-right-for-your-project/ post comparing project management software to Excel really hit home for me – it explained why specialized tools are better for tracking tasks, collaborating in real time, and keeping everything accessible to the whole team. Switching to Taskee gave us a centralized space for projects, files, and communication, and the time we’ve saved by not digging through shared spreadsheets has been huge.

Thank you for pointing me to Taskee.pro — I like that it offers quick task transfers between projects. Have you tried moving multiple tasks at once?
